Airpods TV connect

Does anyone know if you can use a set of Airpods with an LG TV in order to listen to programmes late at night so as not to wake the household? The LG does have wireless/bluetooth.

If the TV can connect to other bluetooth headphones, you can connect the AirPods to it. Simply press and hold the button on the back to start the pairing process.

Thanks for your informative reply. The LG is set up for Bluetooth so shouldn't be a problem.
