Amazon today has the AirPods Pro 3 available for $199.99, down from $249.00. This is a match of the all-time low price on the AirPods Pro 3, and it's accompanied by a solid deal on the AirPods 4.

This model of the AirPods Pro launched in September 2025 and has 2x better Active Noise Cancellation than the previous generation, better audio quality, a revised fit that's meant to improve comfort and stability, Live Translation for in-person conversations, and heart rate sensing for workouts.

You can also get the AirPods 4 for $99.00, down from $129.00. This is a second-best price on the AirPods 4, which is the base model without Active Noise Cancellation. Amazon provides an April 23 estimated delivery date for free shipping, with faster delivery options for Prime members.

Costco now has the same deal w for APP3 / 2 years of AppleCare
I saw that yesterday but I have AirPods Pro 2’s and the more I read/watch reviews and attempt to figure it out… the more confused I get
Helluva rabbit hole.
I’m thinking about the new Max’s vs the B&W PW7s3 right now
Just hate to give up the options gained by using with my Apple devices lol.

Regardless I thought the same, with AC and the price drop is a buy it now. I’m thinking about going over today and just doing it

I don’t know if anyone else is running into this, but I ordered these “AirPods Pro 3” off Amazon after seeing this deal and got them same day, and I’ve been trying to set them up literally all day.

Big red flag right away: Find My is not working properly. They show up, but the precise location feature doesn’t work at all. It only shows last connected location, no tracking, no direction finding, nothing. I’ve reset them, re-paired them, toggled Find My on/off, everything. Still doesn’t work.

Also, the case feels noticeably cheaper than my AirPods Pro 2. The hinge feels thinner and less solid, like it’s just not built to the same standard.

What’s sketchy is that:

  • They connect fine
  • They show up in settings
  • Even have extra toggles like “heart rate”

…but core Apple features like proper Find My tracking aren’t working, which is a huge red flag.

At this point I’m honestly starting to think Amazon is mixing in fakes or these are not legit Apple units, even if the serial shows as valid. Apple support literally told me that serial numbers can be copied and still show up as real.

Just a heads up to anyone thinking about jumping on this deal:
👉 Something feels off with these
👉 The tracking feature not working is a big deal
👉 Build quality doesn’t feel like normal Apple

I’m probably returning them.

Would be curious if anyone else who bought from this deal is having the same issue.

Edit and not only that I just realized the AirPods will stay connected while they’re inside the case, which my AirPods Pro 2 never did. That alone feels wrong. Like they literally connect when they’re inside the case and start playing music or my phone call when I connect my Bluetooth so something’s wrong. These are fake. I wouldn’t order from Amazon.

Amazon is clumping products, reviews and sellers together. The same page might get you legit product, fake sellers, and reviews for an entirely different product all in one. The “visit the store” link isn’t an official seller, it’s just a page generated by Amazon. Goes for any and all things. I’ve stopped buying anything expensive or electronic there. Between fake or used products and porch pirates, I’m better off going to MicroCenter and get robbed in the parking lot 😉

I don’t think these are signs of a fake unit.
I had to have my Pro 3s replaced by Apple just a couple weeks ago and Find My have never quite worked on the replacement set correctly.
Also them randomly still being connected, even when in the case has been a persistent bug for me since the original AirPods Pro back in 2019, sometimes you have to open the case and play with them a bit before they fully disconnect and go into sleep mode.
As for the case, I don’t really have an explanation for that, but it should be noted that the AirPods Pro 3 case has a significantly smaller battery than the Pro 2 and is (from memory) quite a bit lighter than the Pro 2s. If you are directly comparing them, this could be why the new one feels “cheaper”.
Apple even notes this difference in their tech specs page, they said the previous case gave the entire system 30 hours for the battery life of the AirPods Pro 2, the new Case only has 24 hours. And keeping in mind they bumped the battery in the individual buds themselves from 6 to 8 hours, this means that the Pro2 advertised four full recharges of the buds, compared to only two full recharges with the new case.

Not to say you’re wrong, but for me, I’ve never had those issues in all my years of owning AirPods/Pros. Bought a pair of APP3 that had a legit serial number and there were tons of red flags. The ding sound was different. The fit a finish felt bad from the jump. The issues you talked about here were in full affect. I took them to Apple and they shared with me all the ways you could tell they were fakes. First time that’s happened to me.
