Same feeling for me.

I flat out prefer normal audio mixing, after lots and lots and LOTS of Spatial Audio trialing.

For me it's 3DTV all over again ... perhaps a bit less gimmicky, but still pretty gimmicky.

I haven’t tired it for a while, but when they first released Spatial Audio, it felt really gimmicky. I was was like oh this is kinda neat, but I prefer just normal audio… so definitely do not need my AirPods to assist with that…

It may be just me, but I find the Spatial Audio always sounds like it was recorded in a huge cave.

This macOS 26.7 release candidate... when was it made available? I can't find a single post in MR about the 26.7, which is quite unusual, since every single beta (for developers and the public) and every release candidate of the 26.x series have duly been announced here, with a dedicated post.

A few days ago, out of the blue, a casual mention of 26.7 RC, only because of these leaked device codes.

I get that the upcoming 27 is getting all the limelight in this moment, but maybe some more information about the current macOS would be great, instead of replicating the same post over and over again.

Apple doesn't publish betas for .7 and later releases, only release candidates. You can get up to RC 6 or RC 7 depending on the release.

They used to only release RCs for .6 and later releases since at least macOS 11, but they've only been releasing RCs for .7 and later releases since macOS 14. This is due to the change in release schedules, as macOS .0 gets released earlier in the year with other OS releases.
