Airport/Airtunes balance issues

I just got back from a vacation and in the time I was gone there was a power outage and my airport express reset itself. I have since done a full factory reset, updated the firmware etc. But now when I am using airtunes the music only comes out of the left speaker. If I plug the speakers directly into my G4 iBook (via the headphone jack) it comes out of both. Is there somewhere that I can reset the balance? Or is it possible that the output jack on the Airport itself got fried?

Not a software option

Perform a factory default reset (at the bottom) and re-flash the latest firmware to the APX one more time. If that doesn't solve the issue, it's a hardware problem. Sorry.
