Any news for the indoor maps and airport maps so far?
Right now there's only the maps for 2 airports (San Jose and PHL) and 2 shopping malls available since June.

Wondering about this too. Interestingly nothing on iOS 11 or Maps webpages indicate a delay.

Update: I searched with the names of airport and shopping malls. Turns out they have the Look Inside function already, but the button only appears for 0.1 second before it is replaced by the old location pin. It’s a big bug in Maps that obstructs the new feature to be seen.

I bet its that they are still a long way from having all the data for all the locations. It will be years to get all of the malls and airports built and loaded. I mean, Flyover is still being released for cities and when it is they still all it out like its new. Give it time and it will get there but don't expect it for a while.

This time is different. At least a list of airports was shown during WWDC keynote that were claimed to have the maps ready as the first batch, "and many more will come to Maps later".

Perhaps the strangest things are 1. this has not been included in the Feature Availability webpage for clarity, and 2. no one is talking about this online.

Amazed that this was rolled out with so few airports active in this app. While I may be a lover of most things Apple, they dropped the ball on this. Not take anything away from PHL or SJC, however, one would think that at least their home (or nearby airport SFO) would have been the first to launch, along with LAX, JFK, MIA, ORD, ATL and other key hub airports like DFW, IAH, PHX, LAS, DEN ect....
