airport base - firewall/hacker protection?

Hi there, i just about ready to buy a new base station for my cable broadband, and i just need to know, does the AirPort Extreme Base Station have built in firewall?
 
It has a NAT firewall, yes. It's defaulted to basically keeping everything closed, although it appears to auto-configure to allow iChats to work....
