I'm not a n00b :) Current setup: I have the dual-band Basestation and an Airport Express to extend the range. I have a MBP and a Mac Mini(Mac Mini is connected to Airport Express due to range).

Everything works fine and then one day I can't connect to my Mac Mini from my MBP on the same wifi network. The Mini will show up in Finder, but when I click, it can't connect.

Everything is running latest updates and latest firmware versions. Running 10.6.3.

Please help. Thanks!

Get the IP of the Mac mini through Network preferences, and use Network Utility to try to ping the Mac mini from your MacBook Pro. Do all 10 packets return or do none of them come back?

Also, have you tried turning off File Sharing on the Mac mini, powering off all the network devices, including the modem, both AirPort base stations, your other computers, and then starting them up in sequence, then re-enabling File Sharing?
