Is the old Airport upgrade kits on the Apple website still compatible with the new G5 Power Macs? When i phoned the store to order my system they said Apple had changed it and they had not got the new kits yet -- and that it was possibly not a user installable option (without voiding warrenty).

I'm just interested in adding wireless to my system for various reasons but... anyone got any info?

A Stoned Throw From Ground Zero
I took my G5 in to have a diagnostic run on the modem and asked the Genius about AP and BT being retrofitted in to my Rev B 2.0 G5.

Apparently, now the AP/BT combo card can now be installed in the G5
where before you had to install AP and use an external BT module if
you did not order both BTO factory installed.

I asked him to given me a confirmation on that, so I'll let you know
when I'm sure.
