Airport card from TiBook work in iBook?

Howdy all!

Will an airport card from a 400 Mhz Tibook work in a 700 Mhz iBook? Does the iBook need an adapter?

The card should work just fine with no adapter or anything.

All the Wifi cards from back then were the standard 802.11a cards. Basically a PCMCIA Card that you plugged an antenna into.
They were interchangable 'tween computers.

They were 802.11b cards. The new Extremes are 802.11G.

They are both 802.11b cards. Neither machine is capable of having 802.11g. Why would one be faster?
