So after nearly 3 months of using my MBP's wireless internet, my Airport Card decided to suddenly not be recognized by my MBP. Now, I did resolve the issue by resetting the PRAM and my airport is working just fine, but my question is whether or not this is a permanent solution to a possibly recurring problem. I currently have at my disposal an Apple store nearby, but in a week I am returning to school where I will not have an Apple store to see a Genius if things go awry.
I suppose an explanation of why reseting the PRAM solved the issue of my airport card not being recognized would put me a little at ease. The last thing I want is to have to sent my computer out to apple for repairs and not get it back for a month!
