Airport Channel - How to Find?

I'm on a PowerBook running OS X Tiger and am connected to a wireless network. How do I find out which channel (1-11) it is using?

Could you just go through each one and see if theres a signal? Or maybe theres some program that will scan...

If you go into system prfiler, under the wireless thing, it should show. also you could go into airport admin utility in apps>utilities

You can also use iStumbler. It will monitor all wireless networks available (that broadcast an SSID anyways) and will show what channel they are on.

I went into the admin panel of my router to check and change channels, since my connection was having problems being on channel 1..I guess all the other 20 networks in this building are on channel 1. I have a linksys router.
