Is your iPhone connecting via 3G or wifi? Have you rebooted the router? Have you rebooted the modem? What kind of modem is it? What kind of internet service do you have? What does it say in System Preferences -> Network?

iPhone is connected via wi-fi and computer shows full wifi connectivity. I've renewed DCHP lease and nothing. It says it has an ip address

Discovered the problem! Sent the landlord an email and he said that a device was using up alot of bandwith on monday morning and that device was removed from the router......my MacBook Pro! Well I got a warning not to use up too much bandwith and the internet restored.....
