get connected through the base station and the airport window saws im connnected but aol doesn't recognize the conneection. i double checked the access #'s ....the're ok. any help?
thanks in advance.......fletch

I assume that you are using AOL dialup?? AOL is probably set to dial out through the built in modem, so you will have to change the settings in AOL preferences to use the AirPort connection to dial out.

thank you for your reply, yes i'm on dial up. under aol preferences i don't see that option but i did disconnect the internal modem through internet connect. there is also a list of optional modems instead of the internal one but airport is not listed and i dont see the option of entering it to the list. i read the manual and i don't see this issue addressed.
