Airport Constantly Scanning

I have 17 inch I mac running Leopard and my airport cannot hold its signal its constantly scanning for my wireless device which is fine and holding its signal. Is anyone else having this issue thank you for looking

Sound like you have some wireless interference. Try changing wireless channels on your router.

Both myself and my father have been having this issue since we have upgraded to 10.5.2. Seems to be a error in the software. Seeing we both had no issues prior to the upgrade. No one else is experiencing this issue??? Seems more than 4 would have an issue with the airport stuck in scanning.???

Try changing to channel 11 in Airport Utility (manual setup). That should help.

I am not using an apple router. This utility only works with apple routers

Then what brand are you using? Most router have an interface so you can change settings.
