AirPort Express as extender keeps disconnecting

Lately after a year of working, my express keeps disconnecting as the extender from my extreme. But if I restart, it reconnects... for like a hour then it does it again...

any suggestions or ideas why? rather annoying.

It flashes orange.

Try putting it on the 7.6.1 firmware! In my experience it is by far the most reliable.

How would I do that? It's on 7.6.4

It may very well fix the problem.

I dropped them both down to 7.6.3 instead of .4... let's see how this goes

7.6.3 was by far the most buggy by a long shot for many. It broke IPv6 tunnels and many other things.
