Airport Express + Ext HDD ?

I just found out that you cannot attach an external HDD or thumb drive via USB port on Airport Express. When I check out Airport Utility, the "Disk" tab is greyed out while it is OK with my Time Capsule. Any way to circumnavigate this rather annoying limitation? Do you think Apple should enable Disk access in their Airport Express...already?🙄

yeh it would be nice! but its just meant as a basic home router for just wireless internet. 🙁

If it works, there would be no reason to pay $100 more for an Airport Extreme.

The AirPort Express USB port is only for a printer. Nothing else.
