I've tried searching the net but can't find a specific answer to our problems so thought i'd try this forum...
We have an airport express that sits on our network and wirelessly connects to our router. We use it to stream music.
Unfortunately it keeps disappearing off the network. Airport Utility can't see the AE. Yet, If i turn wifi on on my Mac it can connect to the AE.
We run a small network of 4 Macs connected via a switch to a mini mac server. All running Lion.
The internet is connected so not dropping out. For the love of god I can't see why the AE would keep dropping off.
If we re-boot macs, router and AE we get it back for a few minutes before it drops off again.
It has ben working fine for the last 6 months so i do wonder whether it's just a fault on the AE?
