Hi,

Is it possible to connect the AirPort Express using the RJ45 directly to a computer? I have a computer without wifi card that I would like to connect to the Internet, but it is located too far away from the modem. I already have a wifi router (LinkSys) connected to the modem, so my question is if it would be possible to do this:

Computer -> RJ45 -> AirPort Express -> wireless -> LinkSys

Yeah, I use an Airport Express exactly like this so my Tivo can access our wireless network - Tivo can't do WPA encryption, and I didn't want to dumb the network down to WEP (might as well not use anything then). So the Tivo is connected to the Airport Express using a standard cat-5 cable. Then the Airport Express connects wirelessly to an Airport Extreme base station, which is connected to our cable modem.

Great news, thank you very much. And I reckon me having a LinkSys wifi router and not a Airport Base Station will not pose any problems?
