Airport Express + USB Speakers + iPad?

I was wondering if I could connect my Bose USB speakers to my Airport Express, and then play music through them from my iPad with Airplay. Has anyone attempted something like this before? Thanks.

Errr no, doesn't work like that. Do you have any 3.5mm speakers? It will work with 3.5mm speakers.

As whtrbt7 says, I don't think USB speakers will work. I'm not familiar with the Bose item you mention, but I use a Bose Sounddock II with an airport express. Just a 1/8 M-M cable to link them up using the AUX In and it works great.
