Airport Express vs Airport Extreme signal range

I have the OLD version of the Airport Express. There are a few places in my home the signal will not reach.
In the current Airport models does the Extreme provide a stronger signal/longer range?

not longer range, but better for multi computers - in my experience - wifi is still stronger on 3rd party devices, but airport is easy to set up for some people

The Extreme is much stronger than the Express, even the current generation.
