Airport Extreme + 2009 Mac Pro = Wireless Access Point?

I've been looking but can't find an answer to this question.
I know how difficult it is to install the Airport Extreme card in a mac pro. But if I did, could I then use it as a wireless router and connect other devices through my MP?

Yes you can use it to create an ad-hoc network. Just go to System Preferences—>Sharing—>Share Internet.
