I have an Airport Extreme (1st gen) running the updated firmware and a Airport Express (802.11N) running the latest firmware. My question is when I get on my wireless network via my iPhone 4 and run a speedtest I get 18.77Mbps Download and 24.84 Mbps Upload when connected to my Airport Extreme. However, when I go into my bedroom and connect to my airport express via my iPhone 4 I get 3.91 Mbps Download and 5.48 Mbps upload.
Should I be seeing higher speeds from my Express? I have the express set to extend my network. Not sure what these numbers are telling me in the pic.
