airport extreme base station

i'm just curious to know if both the old and the just-released airport extreme base stations work as a DSL modem, or do they just work as wireless routers?

They are wireless routers. And you can hook your printer up too it and have wireless printing....which is nice.

You need cable/dsl modem which your isp provider provides or you can bu ya cable modem.
