Airport Extreme Card Problems!

Hi,

I am trying to connect to a wireless network but my Airport Extreme card on my powerbook refuses to turn on. I go to the Airport toolbar at the top of the screen and click "Turn AirPort On" but nothing happens.

Any ideas on what is wrong or how I can test if the actual card itself is stuffed?

What sort of Mac do you have? I think you should make sure it's seated properly first. 🙂

It's a 17 inch powerbook. How do i check if it's seated properly?

Go into the "about this mac" and in the more info, See what its says about "airport card"

This iFixit guide may help you re-seat the card. If that does nothing, then try resetting your PRAM. 🙂

Thanks for your suggestions. I will try the ifixit website.

I went to "About This Mac" and it there is no sign of an airport card. Bugger!
