Airport Extreme Failure?

    Hey everyone, I did not see a section for this so I will post here lol

    Overnight it seems my Airport Extreme stopped working. It has a solid light but none of our devices are connecting, so when I load the Airport App, it does not see the device.

    I have unplugged it several times and when I plug it back in the light goes right to solid and the app does not see it.

    Any ideas?

    Solid green? Or solid amber?

    Also, have you reset your "internet" modem (like cable modem)?

    Amber means no connection, or other issues. If you haven't reset your internet connection box, I would start there.

    With the light being amber, I agree with kohlson that it sounds like the problem lies with your modem. Check the modem itself and the cable that feeds it, and of course those notoriously loose cat5 RJ-45 connectors for solid insertion both at the modem end and where they go into the Extreme, and even swap cables. If that all appears OK, see if there are any outstanding Airport Utility updates.
