Hi,

Currently running an AEBS connected to a draytek Vigor in bridge mode for an ADSL connection, but we need a much quicker upload so are moving to an SDSL connection.

I'm presuming we can still use the AEBS, but how will it need to be configured - at the moment the AEBS is acting as DHCP server (for VPN as well as normal clients).

It shouldn't need to be reconfigured at all.

Thanks - only our ISP is saying that we will need to update the router to a Cisco 888 or similar.. Would that also be put into bridge mode and enter the settings on the AEBS?

Ask them why. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me.

The Cisco would be a layer3 device to replace the AEBS in that scenario. It should not be necessary.
