For some reason now i can only get my airport to find my router once i've hard wired first with the ethernet cable (kinda defeating the object). I can then pull out the cable and i'm off and running. I assume i've prob changed some settings somewhere during my learning phase - can anyone please help me get permanent airport use with my router please from normal start-up??

I don't have an airport and have never used one, but I'll take a stab at it. Are you configuring the airport to get an IP address automatically (DHCP) rather than a statically set address?

When all else fails, a full reset usually can do the trick.

All sorted thanks 🙂
