Hi, so yesterday someone damaged our internet cable, and now we don't have internet connection. Today our neighbor provided us wifi (so i'm posting this). However my computer is not a notebook so it basically can't catch wifi signal.
I remembered that macs can somehow share connection, so i tried to share it thru ethernet cable(in mac osx Sys. Preferences->sharing->internet sharing from airport to ethernet), but it didn't worked. My question is "did i something wrong?" and "Where should plug the cable? to computer, modem, or something else?
