Hey All,

I've switched from using several Airports in my house to using a couple Unifi access points, with an Airport wired in as a router.

For some reason, though, my IP reservations as set in the Airport are no longer sticking. Does anyone have a similar setup or have any recommendations? I have a nursery camera and a couple other devices that need to have their IP's reserved internally.

Thanks.

Make sure DHCP is off on the Unifi APs. Sounds like maybe it's on and conflicting with AirPort DHCP.

Unless there's some limitation in AirPort DHCP I'm unaware of, it shouldn't make any difference to DHCP whether the client device is connected via UniFi vs. the AirPort antenna.

I am currently running a similar setup while I wait for my USG to arrive to replace the Airport, but I haven't seen the issue you describe, even right out of the box.

I'd post in the Unifi forums about this.
