Ok this is probably me nit-picking, but when airpot connects to a network, it scrolls the networks names in the menu bar (next to its icon). Is there any way to turn this off? Or have it stop after say like 30 seconds?

Mine only scrolls once through. Takes about 5 seconds.

Just disable the whole Airport status in the menu, so it will not show anything, and use menu meters or any other out there to check on your wireless network.
Mine scrolls just a few seconds and the shifts to the airport signal strength indicator.
I noticed in the past when the wifi signal is not stable that connects and disconnects scrolling its name several times.

Erm, I still want the icon in my menubar, I just don't want to see it scrolling for 8 millions days telling me I just joined It's a Grind.
