Yes the tall AirPort Extreme is worth something, but not a huge amount. Maybe US$25-30 on eBay. Over the years I've been buying them to flesh out my home WiFi network, and I'm not the only one. That small AirPort Express isn't worth much though.

I too use the airport extreme devices to extend my home network - quick question though - IOS 18 the app seems to not show my devices connected anymore - the desktop version does though

AirPort Utility works for me on iOS 18 - iPhone 12 Pro Max.
