Hondas are cheaper than BMWs, and more people buy them.
Linksys routers are cheaper than Basestations, and more people buy them.
PCs are cheaper than Macs, and more people buy them.

Does ANYONE think the first products are better? We all know there are cheaper alternatives to just about everything (I could avoid a computer by using the post office, pens, paper and a calculator) but none of them are BETTER.

doesn't buffalo make the hardware for the airport which is a comparable brand to linksys.

Not sure why the attack on linksys, I thought the linksys wireless router was pretty good after you flash it with openwrt or the other opensource firmware.

Had a "snow" Airport 802.11b. Loved it but bought a Linksys 802.11g for a "cheap upgrade". Hated it and gave it away. Bought a Netgear and hated it even more. Gave it a way and bought a U.S. Robotics. Like the U.S. Robotics. U.S. Robotics cost more than the Linksys and Netgear but not as much as the Airport. Hmm, you do get what you pay for.
