Have Apple mentioned if you can charge multiple iPhones on the AirPower? Or is it just x1 iPhone/AirPods/Apple Watch

How do you know? Haven't seen any picture showing it's charging 2 iPhones at once.
Why wouldn't it work? Both phones can charge wirelessly and the pad can charge the watch and air pods for a reason.

How many people would need to charge two phones at once? That's why it's likely never been mentioned

Well, my wife is getting the 8 and I’m getting the X...so there’s an example.

Apple confirmed to press that the AirPower mat can charge an iPhone, a Watch, and AirPods at once, OR two iPhones at once.

(I would imagine the technical limit is two Qi devices and one Apple proprietary device, plus a power limit. I would guess the new AirPods case will be Qi compliant, but the Apple Watch certainly isn’t.)
