Well it looks like they pulled 10.6.5, at least for today.

More recently, iOS updates have been released in the AM (iOS 2 was released at 8am, wile iOS 3, 4 and 4.1 were released around 10am pst)

but Mac OS X updates are not released until PM (10.6.1,2,3 were all released around Noon, but 10.6.4 wasn't released until 4pm pst), so all hope is not lost, yet.

I think it's disgusting that you would email the CEO of Apple and ask him such a petty question. You don't want features like this to be pulled? Don't waste people's time that are working to get it out for you.
Because the CEO actually does the programming and QA...

Your cool factor is showing...

And I think idle speculation on a forum is a waste of time.

I figured I'd go to the source. No one else seemed to be asking him.

Sorry if the 30 seconds Steve (or his PR people) used to reply to the email caused the release to be bumped today. Had he thought it a waste of time he could have chosen to ignore my question.

Get over yourself. Your post was not cool.

Hey, but this is Steve Jobs we are talking about! He has to stand behind every programmer's shoulder and personally correct each and every typo! :D

Um....you should think about changing your nic to something that suits you better.

Do you really think that e-mailing him will have anything to do with the success or failure of a feature in iOS 4.2? I would have figured you credible had you not actually thought an e-mail to Steve Jobs would take away from the programming of such a feature.

I'd back you up, but you got the name wrong, it's AirPrint, with no space in the name. It's the small details that matter and support your credibility.
If you require the proper typing of a word in order to deem someone credible, then you have some serious issues.
