Everything Apple sells are overpriced but they sell like hot cakes. Just sayin’.
Yea I know. I buy all things Apple like a lot of people. Apple products sell because although sometimes overpriced, they work best and last a long time. So I won't return the Loop but probably won't buy another.
I have the Belkin one, and for its price, I feel it's a jip. I know not to expect nice leathery things for $13, but that hard plastic they use is kinda lifeless. It'll do for now, but eventually I'll want to find something nicer.
And no ... I'm not talking Hermes.
I haven’t bought a holder yet. My issue is that all of them add so much bulk to a product designed to be small and makes the tag itself less secure.
Ive been looking at all the cases and, whether its $3 or $30, you could just give the airtag a good squeeze and it will pop out like a Mentos. If they put a hole in it then at least you could run a steel luggage tag through it or actually sew it into the lining of a bag/jacket.

Hahaha are you kidding me? An iPhone isn’t worth €1000 a Mac isn’t worth €1200 an Apple Watch isn’t worth €500 but hey we all buy them! I payed €50 for take out food today, a little keyring for €29 is hardly breaking the bank and if it is you shouldn’t be buying it. Stop being so negative about a few bucks. You just sound bitter about something..
by all means return, apple is no questions asked. there will be similar quality accessories soon at 1/4 or less the price via amazon... apple just guarantees a quality accessory usually, it just is always massively overpriced. for some they are willing to pay that cost just to not have to figure out what is good and what is too cheaply made.
Actually, I'm laughing at myself because when comes to my electronics I will not buy anything but Apple no matter the cost. I'm laughing at myself because I didn't take the time to determine if the product was worth the price. I knew it was Apple and purchased it immediately. To me, that's funny and not bitter about it. It's almost impossible to determine something like bitterness when you are only reading. You need body language and facial expressions to help you determine that.

The iphone wallet thing was not worth the $60 either. I returned that inside of 7 days. Some stuff is just not worth the price tag.
Fair enough! Just sounds a bit strange. It’s not that much money, I don’t get all the negativity about it. It’s a few cups of coffee not a grand like most of their devices. 😄

Nah. I buy them a couple versions back for a few hundred dollars from my carrier.
Not getting my airtag until the 12th May, but going to buy the blue leather one, seeing as the pubs ain’t fully opened yet need to spend my money somehow.

Yeah, I saw the loops at the store today when I did my pickup. The leather ones seemed good, but the non-leather ones were bad. Like original iPad case bad.
There’s computers which cost a lot more than the price you listed and they aren’t made by Apple.
The value of things is determined by how much people are willing to pay. Therefore all those things are worth that much.
Well gotta agree with OP here. While I also buy a $1K+ iPhone, I don’t usually buy Apple accessories. They’re way too crazy for what they do. $50 Watch silicone sport band, $40 Magsafe Wallet, $29 Airtag keychain.
Dang when you add them all up you can get another iPhone.
