Yes very interested in this option for our dog. Only concern is attaching it to the collar so he can’t eat it! Would like a strong waterproof holder.

I've got two young kids, if I were to add AirTags to say a necklace or something... is there any reason why this wouldn't work? I get a little hazy on this product because Apple were specific in that they're not meant for tracking people.

Exactly what I’m getting one for. Will probably get a belkin secure holder with key ring to go on the D-ring on her collar. If anyone else has any better suggestions or purpose designed collars then I’d be grateful to see!

I don't anticipate my dog getting lost around people so probably not. It's a good thing if they get lost around people because then they end up in the pound and are easily recovered.

For my pet I'd be looking at any number of the GPS tracking options.

I'm not sure what version of BT it uses - but modern BT can work a pretty far distance - I'm assuming the airtags will do the same... (for losing dogs in big fields)

Hope someone can make an airtag holding collar.

I think they emphasise the people thing for legal reasons ......... just think how many AirTags will end up hidden inside something to track a cheating spouse :)

Pretty cool. I'm hoping for something that fits flush with the collar rather than "dangling," but this is in the right ballpark.

Phenomenal idea, sir. I could see kids liking it too... slap their favorite emoji, monogram, or initials on it.

Plan on using them for my two cats as well as they like to roam outdoors. My 9yr old cat it should be fine as it looks small enough. Just hope it's not too big for my 1yr old 🙂

Agreed. Given our location in a remote woodland our dog is constantly in our pond in nice weather retrieving items and just having fun. I really need more information on how quickly the water resistance degrades after each exposure before we try this. If it’s shot after a month of retrieving sticks from the pond then it’s a no go.
