AirTunes Direct to iPhone/iPad

Hi there,

I apologize if this topic has already been covered elsewhere, I have searched around and wasn't able to find an exact answer..

I was wandering with the AirTunes feature on the AirPort Express Base Station, whether or not it would be possible to link it up to my surround sound speakers and play off them directly via my iPhone (without having to go through my mac)?

yes, although it will only be stereo.
