Airtunes?

Hi guys,

An ex-colleague of mine got his appletv an mentioned that he could stream music from it via airtunes to an airport xpress in the same way as what you would do when using a mac.

I've been trying to find some info on this but can't seem to find any... soo..

Is it possible to stream music from an appletv via airtunes?

I've never heard of this before. You should ask him to provide details as to how he does it, because it's not supposed to.

Unfotunately neither him nor me work together anymore & I have no contact details for him.. so i'm guessing it's not possible to choose to play through rmote speakers then? 🙁

I think there must have been some miscommunication there.

AppleTV cannot output to anything other than a TV or an A/V Receiver.

Perhaps he was using a Mac Mini?
