Hi All

I can't get my MAC to connect to a site which uses this java.

Anyone got any ideas to resolve this.

Reinstalled firefox and still will not work.

Cheers Phil

Are there any errors messages? Open Error Console from the Tools menu to find any listed. Also, could you give a link as an example?

Thanks for the response.
I can't download this file.
I have the issue in both safari and firefox.

I did have a trial of little snitch on my MAC but used the uninstall to remove it.

Only this site seem affected and I can't see anything on my network browsers settings that could affect it. I reinstalled firefox and still can't access the site.

I'm stuck for ideas now and a re-build seems extreme to access one site.

Cheers Phil

The last thing I can think of is to reboot your router. I every so often have an issue with some Yahoo resources not working and rebooting my router fixes. Think it's partly a cache issue. You could also try deleting your cache in the browser, but I don't have much hope for that.

Cheers I've done all that, still no joy....

I am having this same problem. I found this thread from a google search, I know it is a few years old. But I see that keeper is still active on this forum so I wonder what you did to fix it?

Basically none of my browsers can access ajax.googleapis.com. I thought it might be a little snitch problem but disabling that does nothing.

I am also having the same issue. However, jQuery content works fine when I run Windows in Parallels, so I'm guessing it's to do with OSX.

Found solution

Looks like if you have this error you downloaded Parallels from torrent, and added to hosts file one line containing ajax.googleapis.com.
So go to terminal and type:
sudo nano /etc/hosts

inside the editor find for the line
127.0.0.1 ajax.googleapis.com

and remove it or comment it out.
