What's the best one out there right now?

The current one blows. If I didn't have my work berry, I would be late almost every other day. I hate having to turn it on every night and I don't feel like setting 5 different ones for each day of the week...

What the hell you talking about Willis?
The built in alarm works well... IF you know how to use it.
1 alarm can be made to go off only during week days or any combo of days you want.
You can set it to allow snoozing or not.
You can chose an alarm sound.
Once set CORRECTLY it will always work for the defind time frames.

eg.
I have 3 Alarms
Alarm 1 is weekdays Xam Wake UP (Snooze option) Mon Fri
Alarm 2 is weekdays X:30 are you awake? (No Snooze opt) Mon Fri
Alarm 3 is Weekends Xam Wake up (No Snooze opt) Sat-Sun

Ive never had to touch them since setting them 10 months ago. They always go off and on the days selected. Never had to worry about re-setting them or anything.

Do as above - easy enough to set as many alarms as you want. Very easy to set up.

I set mine for 5 times a day (diet/snack reminders), and add more for appointments during the day. I also use iCal for business appointments or meetings before/between classes days, weeks and months in advance.

you dont have to turn it on every night.. if you wake up monday through friday at 7 am every day, just set the alarm for weekdays at 7am and it will ALWAYS wake you up at 7am between monday and friday.

RTFM is all that is needed

Wow... I apologize... Lol. I was under the impression I could only choose one of the days.

I apologize. I won't ask another question here.

Thanks,

Wouldn't any 3rd party "app" be useless, according to Apple's rules? I thought all apps had to completely shut down when they are closed. So for it to work, you could set a 3rd party alarm app but not close the program until the alarm time arrives? Meaning you couldn't answer calls, texts, or activate any other app?

I do as everyone else does... just set them and leave them :) never been late because of the iPhone.

The iPhone has to be on for the alarm to go off still yea?

The only thing I'd like to see added to the alarm clock is the ability to wake up to music. It's available on other iPods I don't understand why it's not included here.

I created some MP3 ringers and used one of them. I wake to the same music everyday, but it's music.

Yeah I have to agree the built in alarms in the Clock application are great. Would be nice if it directly supported music rather than just ringtones...but oh well...the "Alarm" sound going off is enough to get me up.

So you can lay in your bed and listen to the whole song?

I just want to be able to shut my phone off and have the alarm go off whether or not my phone is on or off. My berry used to do that...
