Super tall order eh folks?

It seems there are a couple of docking alarms clocks (amazon) that come close but not close enough. Either reviews aren't good enough e.g. too bright a screen at night or else it's not really meant for a 6/6 Plus so that even if it fits snugly, there will be - and are - several incompatibility app issues.

I know - from doing searches - that many of you don't even bother with traditional alarm clocks anymore but I like them because in the middle of the night I want to be able to roll over and quickly look at the time then fall back asleep. I also like having two methods of alarm instead of just one, if I need that, and if I want a dock/speaker anyway, it might as well have an alarm, normal/easy radio, etc etc. Lastly I might go downstairs, leave my phone down there without thinking, run upstairs, take a shower, go back into the bedroom to get dressed only to discover I've left the phone downstairs and have no clock now. You get the idea. I also love having a vintage turntable but i digress... :p

Do you know of ANY new product that fits the bill?!

Thanks!

I’m looking for an alarm clock/dock as well. I need one for the same reasons as Greenone. All that I’ve seen don’t seem to fit an iphone with a case. I like the smaller versions of the iHome products I’ve seen (http://www.amazon.com/iHome-iPL8BN-...F8&qid=1420415591&sr=8-4&keywords=iphone+dock) or (http://www.amazon.com/iHome-Stereo-...1420415696&sr=8-6&keywords=iphone+6+plus+dock), but again, they don’t accommodate a phone with a case.
Looking for one that fits an iphone 6 plus.

Any help appreciated.

The reviews on alarm clocks haven't been that good. I would simply just buy an iPod Touch 5th gen. and an Apple Dock station and go with that. This way you don't forget to put it on the dock when you go upstairs. Or even an iPad. I like using Find my iPhone app to see how much battery charge is on my iPhone. Using another iOS device I can check that. I don't like iHome devices because they will stop working after a few months.

Since your iPhone is on the charger you can ask Siri "what time is it'.

I use one of the JBL OnBeat Micro docks (got it when Meh.com had them for really cheap) with my 6 and it will fit and work with a 6+ (a coworkers has that arrangement). It's only a speaker dock, but there are plenty of clock apps that you could use to display the time dimly on your screen at night (I use TMSoft's White Noise to fall asleep to and it has the option to display a clock (with various brightnesses and colors).

I'm not sure if this exactly helps, but it could be a makeshift option.

How do you set it up so that the iPhone plays one of those 'Listen Live' radio stations (in other words, go to the internet website of a radio station and select 'Listen Live') upon activation of the wakeup alarm?
Thanks...

I think it really depends on the live radio station you're listening to - if it's a proprietary app or web site, you probably can't, but if you're using TuneIn Radio or iHeartRadio, they have alarm clock functionality.
