Alarm Function on iPhone?

Anyone know if this puppy has an alarm function?

The vibrating alarm function on my cell phone is the essential killer app that I use about five times per day for meetings.

Hopefully the iPhone will vibrate for other functions as well as when a call comes in - ie. txt message, and calendar event.

if it ain't in 1.0, i have no doubt it will be in 1.1.

i use the alarm on my phone to wake up in the mornings .. its essential it has or gets this in the future.
