cause tons of people roll over and hit the snooze button in the morning. Best to have it the way it is so anyone reflexively hitting the button doesn't drift back to sleep and miss work.

You’re very right! The amount of times I’ve snoozed an alarm due to an inconsistency in the semantics of the software lol. It’s an odd oversight I think.
Exactly. Theyre both essentially alarms, this inconsistency doesn’t make sense.
