So I'm guessing this is a longshot and not possible, but is there a way one can one use an animated gif or other varying picture as the album art on an iPhone? I know it sounds odd, but Arcade Fire's The Suburbs came out yesterday and was released with eight slightly different covers and I thought it would be cool to have all eight on my iPhone's iPod. Thanks.

I think NIN does this with their albums too. Just try setting different album art for each different track? Don't think there's a way to animate cover art.

Hmm, not quite as cool as truly dynamic artwork, but oh so elegant in simplicity! Great solution. Plus, 16 tracks for 8 pieces of artwork works out great numberwise. Thanks a lot.
