Albums split on iPhone but not in iTunes

Hi,

I'm having an issue with my iPhone 3GS (iOS 4.2.1, iTunes 10.1.2) and syncing music. Some albums get split when they're on the phone, which would be fine, except they aren't split in iTunes, so it's impossible to fix.

Why would the album be fine in iTunes, but gets split when syncing to the device? I've checked all fields in Get Info, and they all match exactly, which is why iTunes doesn’t split the album.

try selecting all the songs in the album that iphone splits up select get info then info and down left click of "part of a compilation". That has solved all my problems as of now. And it was so hard finding it

Thank you! Mine had been check, so I unchecked the box and saved and then rechecked the boxed and saved and it worked!
