Alert Reminder for voice mail and text?

    I was looking for an app for the iphone that will ALERT me every 2 min if I get a voice mail or text message ( until I read it ) , and I dont seem to find any. Is this phone capable of doing this. They say there is an app for EVERYTHING,, Can anyone point me in the right direction! Thanks in advance!!!

    Bump.

    Asked another way: Is it now possible (with background tasks and/or push notifications) to write an App that will do this??
