iPod touch Alerts from phone to iPod through bluetooth

Hey I was just wondering is there away my iPod could let me know my phone is getting a call or text through bluetooth? Here's an example say I'm riding my bike and I have my headphones in and I miss a text or phone call and don't notice it 'tell later but If I could somehow get my iPod to let me know my phones got a text or is getting a call then I would not miss the text or call, is there away?

As far as i know NO.But to be sure i checked in the google and didn't found anything like that
