Since trying out the new iPad pros it appears all of apples screens now appear laggy

The iPad Pros are now buttery smooth and have made all other screens obselete. I checked out all other devices and they are all laggy and awful to look at. We need all devices to be upgraded to 120 Hz refresh rate and possible to 300 Hz on future iPads.

I went to look at the iPhone 7 and its just horrible and laggy, its horrible to use now and needs upgrading FAST! All horrible and laggy

You think scrolling on the new iPad Pro in Safari is great now? Just wait until iOS 11 (unless you've already got it). The scrolling is so much better now that it matches the rest of the system with inertia. That's where the buttery smooth scrolling really shines.

while using 10.5" for a couple days I was on iOS 11 almost 100% of the time

so the buttery scrolling is different and better on iOS 11 vs 10.3.2 on 10.5"?

Interesting,

Hmm this is a good reason for me to not buy this device....I don't want to believe my other devices are lagging when they really don't. I will look more into it and wait till maybe iOS11 releases.

That's actually a valid reason IMO

It certainly has the potential to

I'm a mutant as even after watching a 240hz Tv then looking at my tiny 60hz phone... I'm good. Same with switching back and forth from iPP 2 to iPad Mini 4, I notice a difference but not lag just less smooth, but the movement is still good on other iOS devices.

Kallum's.

Well, you are mostly consuming 24 fps content on your 240 hz screen mixed with some 30 and maybe 60 fps stuff.
Additionally your TV might not even support real 240 hz. Most of them are using some fake interpolation.

High refresh rates are noticeable at high motion, which mostly benefits UI movement and gaming - if you can push the game at 120+ fps.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I never thought my 7+ felt slow in any way. But after using the Pro 10.5 for a few days, my iPhone feels really sluggish and laggy. Especially scrolling between my app pages.

I hoping the iPhone 8 can match the smoothness of the 120hz refresh rate.

My MacBook remains unaffected since I don't scroll between app pages on it.
