Bloody hell.. it's 4.12 am here in California.. and I was just about to go to sleep. Now I can't.. it better not be some silly maintenance routine thing

Not really excited. At most it`d be some processor/memory updates. I m not interested in anything Apple has right now(already own the iPhone and a MacBook). What might be intersting is a new toy. Or atleast a new line of Macs. Like the rumored ultra thin(may be touch sensitive) MacBooks. Or the new iPhone. If anything like this is due from Apple camp then they`d be waiting for the MWSF instead. So nothing to watch out for.

Then why read the thread? Nothing you mentioned will be updated today.

Over 1.5 hours now. Ack!

i'm interested in the bluetooth keyboard update with a trackpad

dont think that's gonna happen tho!

still.. be good to see these speed bumps etc.. to keep in line with CES announcements

update

Anyone else just get a white page on the UK store?

Edit - Back to 'We'll be back soon' Damn it!!

I think ...

They are updating the little flag images on the "We'll be back soon" page ....

This could become a traditional piss all over the CES fire and then come Macworld piss all over it some more - although I think Gates did a good enough job on his own this year.

Have a coffee, have some lunch and then check back at 2 pm UK time - that's when the new products will be up - probably MacPro and MacBook Pro revisions.
I doubt it is MB Pro and M Pro. I wouldn't be suprised if they will get a redesign. Maybe black with silver.... Stylish! Remember there was a rumour about a gunmetal macbook. I want that.

most likely the usual suspects for silent upgrades, like mac mini and xserve ...
If this is just the usual suspects, why does it take so long?

Would love to see the logs to find out how many times each store's We'll Be Back Soon page gets hit.

Funny.

Looking at the flags I am suprised that just a small portion of all the countries on the world is represented. 28 in total. China for example is not present (But Hong Kong is :-S ). Also Belgium and Swiss are counted twice. Shows that only a small portion of the world is rich :(.

Can't see them releasing anything exciting (i.e. new products or anything with new features) without the whole keynote thing beforehand. Most likely just maintenance, or refreshing things they're not going to give a proper revamp (I'll lol if the Mac Pro gets a minor refresh), or even removing things (Mac Mini? hehe)

Either that or it's going to be down from now until MacWorld
