ok, something's up. contact apple. meanwhile...that's five, out of...how many early 2015 rMBPs are out there? call. apple.

There are many stories about, that they changed the LCD 2-3 times and the rattle is still there.

I have since ordered 2 more Macbook Pro's and 1 of them has the issue again. This is 2/3 Laptops with the problem.

This is the second of three Macbooks we have purchased which has loose parts inside.

In the video of the first Macbook you can hear the noise clearer. This is recorded with my phone so the sound is not as good"

and..

just read the comments, everyone has the same issue

Please help us to make it clear, that these are not isolated issues, it's a construction issue, and we can't resolve it with a replace or LCD fix.

Tough crowd.

No, one does not shake their laptop in daily use. But with a machine that is designed to be portable, that could easily be heard just picking it up and putting it in a bag or whatever. Laptops don't make noises like that, and I would expect a repair or at least an explanation from Apple of what is causing it.

Do you have an Apple Store nearby? Go give all their demo models a good shake for data gathering purposes. :)

Done. :) It's only an apple premium reseller, but they are rattling.

Three devices in my nearest Apple Store: no one rattling....
After the third attempt the Apple Store employee was puzzled and asked me about my shaking. I told him about this issue and he told me they had zero returns he could remember about that.

i dunno. at this moment, 81.8% of the people in your own poll said no; of course, that's only 9 people. btw, did you get the poll right? my macbook pro never shakes. it hasn't moved a centimeter from where i left it. maybe change to "Your early 2015 MacBook Pro rattles when shaken"?

What I find amazing are those that dont seem to have the problem are annoyed by those that do have it. Its easy to say "get over it" or "its all in your head" when you dont yourself have the problem. Instead of just spewing noise, go somewhere else and create your ranting thread about ranters. Enough said.

funny stuff. if someone has a problem (rattling macbook, for example), they should get it fixed. go to an apple store, call apple...ask for advice on a forum like...this one; do something. but i doubt anyone's 'annoyed' that some people have this issue. personally, the only thing i find annoying is when someone has a problem, and assumes that everyone has that problem. enough said.

What are you talking about? There are dozens of affected Macbooks in this thread, in the comments, youtube etc.

Nobody really knows how widespread this issue is and whether it should be considered as an issue in the first place. I dont have the luxury of time to book an appointment at an Apple store, go there and have it checked out probably to be told that its normal. It's far easier to spend a few minutes searching the forums for answers, dont you think?...enough said.

I'm not annoyed that your MacBook Pro makes a problem when it is shaken, I'm annoyed that the OP presumes that ALL 2015 rMBP units have this issue. If you're worried about the noise your computer is making when you shake it, take it in to Apple.

My 2015 13" rMBP doesn't make any noises during normal use. No I haven't SHAKEN my laptop, that isn't normal use.

you don't have the luxury of time to deal with the issue? so you'll post here, and that will solve what exactly? i dunno, if i broke my arm, for example, i'd find the luxury of time to get to a doctor. if my expensive macbook had an issue, i'd find the luxury of time to get that fixed too. or at least stress out a genius bar genius about it...

Dozens based on the sample you've tested added to what you've read on the Internet? I get that the ones you've tried make a sound when you shake them, but just because you're experiencing the issue doesn't mean that it applies to everyone. Take your rMBP in to Apple for service, it shouldn't make any noise under normal use.

Are you for real? You are comparing a broken arm to something loose inside the MBP but that doesn't seem to have any incidence on the proper functioning of the device?
If it were the screen going randomly blank or exhibiting artifacts or the battery not charging those are things that would certainly warrant a trip to the store.

So far the poll in this thread doesn't match the title of this thread.

all i'm saying is...if something's broke, endeavor to get it fixed...or accept it, but don't complain. if it doesn't bother you, cool. if it does, deal with it. if i break my arm, and choose not to fix it, i promise not to complain about it.

Dont complain??? Excuse me but who exactly are you to give me advice let alone tell me what to do? And how did you jump to the conclusion that something is broke? I'm just making an observation and trying to figure out if others are experiencing the same or if there is reasonable consensus to my observations if you will.

After coming across this thread, I just checked mine. I'm finding it to be completely silent.

Yet that said we have quite a few of these at work, so I"m going to check them tomorrow.

sorry, maybe a different user named prism wrote this:

"Indeed I do."

and this:

"What I find amazing are those that dont seem to have the problem are annoyed by those that do have it. that same 'prism' has his (or her) own thread about the problem as well.. am not assuming anything....
